Wymondham Deserves Better

Wymondham Town Council will be having a by-election on Thursday 15 May 2025.

I'm standing as I think Wymondham deserves a better town council than the one it's had these past couple of years.

A Better Town Council

I think Wymondham deserves a better Town Council:

One that spends your money sensibly and actively promotes a prosperous town centre.

Prioritising Better Facilities

I think Wymondham deserves a Town Council that prioritises better facilities here after all these years of house-building.

We need more capacity at the local GP surgeries, better access at the Station, a wind-resistent bus shelter in the town centre, and new play equipment for our children in local parks. And we need to retain a proper bank counter-service.

Keeping Wymondham Special

From the conservation area in the middle of the town to the countryside views we have from Tuttles Lane and from Chapel Lane to the Abbey...

...I think we now need to protect Wymondham's heritage & identity from inappropriate over-development.

Keeping Us Separate from Norwich

Proposals from most of Norfolk's District Councils to make Wymondham part of an extended Norwich are a recipe for disaster.

They would mean higher council tax and urban sprawl reaching from Norwich to Wymondham.
